They say a picture is worth a thousand words. In this case it may be true. Some folks will simply see a boy sitting by an old camper, also true. I see so much more. I see freedom. I see turtles and frogs and catfish and sunnies. I see a world of wonder and fascination, of climbing trees and adventures in the woods.
I was lucky enough to have these kinds of experiences shared with me as a kid and now I’m doing the same with my kids. You can, too.
